A podcaster extraordinaire

QUICK OVERVIEW

 Got a fetish for podcasts? Great writing and producing skills? Perfect!! We’re looking for podcasters across Australia who knows how to produce, write, be exceptional in organising and scheduling, plus be able to talk to local town folk. Storytowns is a fast paced start-up changing the way people travel using geo-located podcasts. We’re extracting micro-cultures through local stories. Storytowns is on a strong trajectory and we’re currently building a bank of podcasters with both freelance and casual positions available. You don’t have to move as we need freelance podcasters around Australia, but if you are close to Western Victoria there is a casual position available. Think Lonely Planet! 

ABOUT YOU: You’ll be the voice of some podcasts! You the host, will plan, prepare and present the podcasts. We have Bruce, the audio producer so you’ll be working closely with him to make the podcasts.  

ABOUT US: At Storytowns, we’re rapid risers in the start-up world, meaning we are all doing many things at once and constantly moving and adapting quickly to new situations. We are based in Regional Australia, Hamilton to be exact, with a team of four plus a few freelancers. We are a human centered company, working hard to create the perfect app for lovers of stories & travellers.

WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO BE…

  • The No. 1 thing is you must be a people person and have excellent skills in schedule and organising.

Sound quality is of no importance at this stage. We are looking for tone/friendliness/genuine personas and how people interact with others. Your demo should include a short interview/chat with someone.
